Meet Jessica Johnson
MSN, ARNP, FNP-BC, CPT
My passion for health, wellness, and lifestyle medicine stems from my love for preventative health. Too often, I have encountered patients who feel like their challenges to achieve a healthier state is something they have to face alone. Worst of all are the ones who have experienced shaming or blaming for their health state. That is simply unacceptable. I became a nurse practitioner to empower, educate, and partner with my patients to help them reach a healthier and happier state of being. I became a health coach because despite my best efforts in clinical practice, I am simply not afforded the amount of time I need to truly help my patients improve their lifestyle.
Navigating your health system can be an arduous task for many. One of the most challenging obstacles can be getting factual information to guide your healthy lifestyle. I strive to provide my clients with that information so that they can make informed decisions about their health.
I take pride in taking the time to understand what my clients and patients need to achieve wellness.
I will help you create a comprehensive, individualized, and holistic plan that guides you to a healthier state. I am ready to help you, so don’t delay your health another day. Get in touch today!

My Story
I have been caring for patients in healthcare for over 20 years. My first 8 years in healthcare were in the U.S. Army where I treated active-duty servicemen/women as a medic and LPN in a multitude of different settings. Since ending my military service in 2010, I have gone on to continue my nursing education becoming a registered nurse and ultimately a nurse practitioner.
I have always had a passion for holistic health & wellness and chronic disease prevention. This stemmed from the unfortunate loss of dear family members who were gone far before their time. Early in my nursing career, I spent much of my free time studying in areas of fitness and nutrition so that I could further help others lose weight and lead healthier lives. The more I dove into these areas the deeper my passion for preventative health grew. This, lead me to study lifestyle, functional, and obesity medicine. The more I learned about these areas of medicine the more I've come to realize the shortcomings of the traditional health care model and realize that this is what I was meant to do.

Being a nurse has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I connect with my patients during some of the most life-challenging moments of their lives. I understand that this deep connectedness affords me a wonderful opportunity. I get to empower, inspire, and encourage my patients and clients to make the changes needed to advance them toward a healthier state. This is a privilege I cherish greatly.
